¤ City Sightseeing ¤ Batu Caves ¤ Fort Altinsburg & Lighthouse ¤
Feeding Silver Leaf Monkeys ¤ Riverside Seafood Dinner ¤
¤ Boat-ride to View Fireflies ¤

The tour takes in some of the sights of the city before going to Batu Caves and onwards to Bukit Melawati (Fort Altingsburg, with its wild band of Silver Leaf Monkeys) in Kuala Selangor.

We then go for a delicious seafood dinner a a river-side restaurant while watching the sunset. After the meal, we come to the highlight of the tour - going on a boat-ride to watch the dazzle of fireflies.

Our drive to Kuala Selangor takes approximately 1.5 hours, passing through small towns, kampungs and plantations. On arrival at Kuala Selangor, we visit "Kota Melawati" formerly known as "Fort Altinsburg". Perched on a hill, it offers a panoramic view Selangor coast and the Malacca straits.

Crowned by a lighthouse, the tall beautiful shady trees here are a haven for silvered leaf monkeys and the long tail macaques. These monkeys normally hang around waiting for handouts normally given by visitors.

With the coming of dusk, we drive across the bridge over for a sumptuous seafood dinner at the riverside restaurant while watching the a river view sunset.

After dinner we take a 15 minutes drive to Kampung Kuantan for the highlight of the tour. We will take a battery operated boat in the quiet darkness to witness the blinking trees. This scintillating display of fireflies portrays an image of a flashing Christmas tree. The synchronized, rhythmic flashing is produced by the thousands of fireflies found in the mangrove swamp of Kampung Kuantan. The skilled boatman will make this experience a memorable and an unforgettable one.
