factory in the world, and a fascinating tour of the intriguing cave temples
of Batu Caves
Upon arrival at the Royal Selangor Pewter, you will be taken for a tour at
the pewter gallery. The gallery offers a host of interactive displays and
fascinating exhibits. You will be shown the different processes, such as
casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving during this
factory tour.
Our next stop will be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of
three caverns and several small caves. It is the shrine of Lord Muragah or
also known as Lord Subramaniam, a Hindu deity. A flight of 272 steps lead up
to the temple cave. Another cave at the bottom of the hill showcases a
gallery filled with crafted images of deities and murals depicting scenes
from the Hindu Scriptures.

 ABORIGINE AND RAINFOREST TOUR

 FRIM RAINFOREST TOUR

FRIM - Forest Research Institute of Malaysia
Located 16km northwest of Kuala Lumpur, the Forest Research Institute of
Malaysia is a well managed forest science park. Covering 600 hectares of
experimental plants, arboretum and reforested areas.
FRIM is the nearest nature destination and nature trek option for visitors in
Kuala Lumpur, who wish to see and experience the wonders of a tropical forest
without the rigours of travelling to National Parks. There are jungle trails for
nature treks, a Canopy Walkway, a herb garden, a museum exhibiting different
species of tropical wood, their uses and products
Located within, at a height of about 300m, is a Canopy Walkway. This walkway
system spans about 200m and is suspended on trees about 30m above ground. The
walkway system and the platforms are vantage points from which one experiences a
panoramic view of the forest.
