month is special because of the star 'Uthiram' and 'Pournami' occurring
together. The ancients chose Uthiram to convey to humans that it is for
underlining the glory of Grahasta Dharma (married life) and.is the day when most
divine weddings had taken place.
On Panguni Uthiram, in all places where Lord Subramanian has a temple, his
devotees carry in a Kavadi the requisites of Puja for him, in fulfillment of
vows.

Special Day - April Fools Day
Date: 01 Apr 10
April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day, although not a holiday in its own right, is
a notable day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the
commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on
friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on fool's
errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible.
Traditionally, in some countries, the jokes only last until noon: someone who
plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool". Elsewhere, such as in
Ireland or France, the jokes last all day.
