Exhibition / Show - Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live!

An interactive exhibition That takes visitors on a time warp to the Mesozoic Era. The show will feature reengineered life-sized animatronic dinosaurs in realistic backdrops designed to immerse visitors in an adventurous setting, and will be held in a large, newly-constructed 13,000 square foot exhibition space, making for hours of thrilling fun. Parents and children alike can have a hands-on learning experience through 15 educational activities that engage all of their senses, such as the Dino Quest, a scavenger hunt which propels visitors through a time warp and transforms them into palaeontologists on the hunt for dinosaurs and specimens.

Performance / Ballet ~ A Streetcar Named Desire

A Pulitzer Prize-winning play that has been adapted into a ballet, the performance, will marry various dance genres, and a collaboration between Malaysia and Japan. Blanche Dubois will be portrayed by Misako Kato, whose performance will be steeped wholly in classical ballet. In contrast, the rest of the cast will perform contemporary or modern ballet.
The premise of the show puts Blanche front and centre, whose attractive appearance and pretensions of virtue mask her alcoholism and delusions of grandeur. She visits her sister Stella Kowalski and her husband Stanley in the French Quarter of New Orleans to seek refuge, only to find Stella lives in drunkenness, violence, lust and ignorance.

Cultural Festival / Chinese ~ Hungry Ghost Festival

Celebrated by the Chinese to satisfy the imprisoned and hungry ghosts in order to get good fortune and luck in their lives. The festival is currently celebrated with ceremonies at homes, temples, associations, and guilds. HANDS Gamelan Group was formed in 2007 when a custom made gamelan set influenced by the Malay and Javanese Gamelan was acquired. In June 2013, HANDS played an adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s Danse Napolitaine from Swan Lake at DPAC in their fund raising concert for France. It was the first time they played a Western Classical piece on the Gamelan and Shigu. Now a year later, they have adapted another 9 pieces of Tchaikovsky’s works from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker Suite and The Sleeping Beauty to showcase in this hour long concert

Performance / Fundraiser ~ Child Aid Asia Goes Jazz @ Kuala Lumpur 2014

Exhibition / Fair ~ Summernats Malaysia 2014

Australia’s biggest automotive event, Summer Nationals or SummerNats, is coming to Malaysia and for motor heads, the Summernats Exhibition will feature more than 50 Malaysian owned muscle cars, Japanese GT and domestic vehicles, custom and road bikes. SummerNats Malaysia will however, diversify its attraction to welcome the world of custom motorcycles and superbikes, in addition to taking on a more family-oriented weekend for spectators.

There will be hundreds vehicles on display which consists of American and European classic, sports and muscle cars, some of which are collectibles. One of the highlights of the event will be the SummerNats Street Machine parade which will involve not only Muscle Cars, Classic Cars, Supercars and Sports cars but also include all genre of motorcycles from choppers and superbikes, to sports bike and even interesting bikes like Vespa participating in a parade within and outside of the Sepang International Circuit.
The SummerNats Judging Pavilion will see cars and bikes alike competing against each other in 12 categories, judged by a panel of reputable judges from Australia and Malaysia through partners such as Tom’s Stickers.

There is also a target to have 10,000 cyclists gathered and for those who like, do some fun laps around the Sepang International Circuit. Also lined up activities for ladies and children which includes a bazaar, food festival and special kids zone.

SummerNats Malaysia which will also coincide with the running of the annual Sepang 12-Hour Race or previously known as Merdeka Endurance Race. The race will feature many local and international race teams, with world-class drivers piloting equally world class racing machines dicing it out for 12 hours.

Exhibition / Show - Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live!

An interactive exhibition That takes visitors on a time warp to the Mesozoic Era. The show will feature reengineered life-sized animatronic dinosaurs in realistic backdrops designed to immerse visitors in an adventurous setting, and will be held in a large, newly-constructed 13,000 square foot exhibition space, making for hours of thrilling fun. Parents and children alike can have a hands-on learning experience through 15 educational activities that engage all of their senses, such as the Dino Quest, a scavenger hunt which propels visitors through a time warp and transforms them into palaeontologists on the hunt for dinosaurs and specimens.

Chinese Festival ~ Mid Autumn or Mooncake Festival

The Mid-Autumn or Mooncake Festival also known here as Tang Lung Festival falls on the 15th day of the Chinese eighth month and is celebrated to signify the end of the harvest season. As it is associated with paper lanterns and Malaysians in general refer it as the Lantern Festival. The Chinese here celebrate the festival with family gatherings, prayers, mooncakes and lantern parades by children. Weeks before the festival, Chinese families present gifts of mooncakes to friends and senior relatives to foster better ties with them.

Featuring works by Richard Wagner, Robert Schumann, and Felix Mendelssohn, who all were fascinated with literature, and who all were conductors. Wagner composed Siegfried Idyll as a birthday present to his wife after the birth of their son Siegfried. At separate times in his life Mendelssohn composed music for Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, including the world-famous Wedding March.

Art Festival / Bazaar ~ Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival

A Malaysian community project that brings together artistes from Klang Valley and some from beyond to showcase the breadth and depth of the buzzing Malaysian arts scene. A giant buffet of all things artsy - From the contemporary to the traditional, mainstream to the experimental, expect to feast on something different at every turn and every corner.
There will be performances, workshops, screenings, installations and a whole host of arts-related activities covering all genres such as dance, drama, music and visual arts.
One of the highlights of the festival is a traditional showcase that will feature rarely seen traditional arts from each state such as the Kuda Kepang from Johor, the Wayang Kulit and Mak Yong from Kelantan and the Sumazau from Sabah.
Besides the plethora of activities during the day, there will be a free Gala performance on Sunday night with a special line up.
